Kenyon Mau
Kenyon joined ATA as a principal in 2007. He is also the founder of Human Capital Advisors and a successful human resources consultant with over twenty years' experience in the private and public sectors. His passion is to positively influence an organization’s bottom line through the recruitment, retention and development of talent. As a change agent, he has demonstrated innovation and creativity in working with organizations of diverse size, culture and needs. Kenyon’s success in HR has been in finding key employees and working with managers to engage and retain high performers. Kenyon has served in, and consulted with large and small organizations in the retail, utility, consumer products and manufacturing industries as well as in academia and government.
Kenyon was human resources generalist for The Kirby Company (a Berkshire Hathaway Co.). He also led information technology staffing for FirstEnergy Corp and served as a Project Staffing Team Leader for Management Recruiters International. Kenyon was a region-leading recruiter for CIBER, and HR generalist for Clark Refining and Marketing Inc.
Kenyon is active in the Northeastern Ohio HR Planning Society; the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Staffing Management Association. He is also a frequent blogger, contributor to the Council for Smaller Enterprises (COSE) MindSpring Knowledge System and local print publications on various HR topics.
Kenyon earned a BA in History from the College of Wooster and his MBA from Kent State University. He has taught courses in human resources, business and economics as adjunct faculty of Stark State College, University of Phoenix and Lorain County Community College.
